Crunchy Aromatic Pickle Carrots
5-6 Medium carrots, peeled and sliced in sticks
1-2 Tbsp. fresh dill (optional)
1/4 fresh red chilli (without the seeds)
3-4 cloves garlic peeled
2 Tbsp. Himalayan salt
1 L Glass jar
What to do:
Place half of the dill, chilli and the garlic cloves at the bottom of the jar. Add the carrot sticks.
Fill the jar with filtered water until it covers the carrots. There should be about an inch (3cm) from the top of jar.
Add the rest of the dill and salt and cover. Very gently shake the jar to ensure is dissolve in the water.
Place in a warm spot away from direct sunlight and direct heat.
Should be ready in 3-4 days. If you like it, move it to the fridge.
