GET YOUR DAILY DOSE OF FIBER WITH THIS EASY DELICIOUS CHIA CUP RECIPE!
Chia seeds are an excellent source of fibre, with a whopping 10 grams in only 2 tablespoons. That is one-third of the daily recommended intake of fibre per day. Fibre is associated with reducing inflammation, lowering cholesterol and regulating bowel function.
GREEN CHIA CUP
2 Tbsp Chia seed soaked overnight in 2 tbsp of water or coconut milk
2 Tbsp coconut milk or almond milk extra
1 Tsp Spirulina powder
1 Tsp Maple syrup or honey
1 kiwi sliced
1 Tbsp Pepitas
Opcional toppings: Pistachios, banana or granola
What to do:
If you haven’t soak the chia overnight, just add your choice of liquid to it and allow to absorb for around 15 min. Add the rest of the ingredients and serve with your choice of toppings. Delicioso!!! 🙂
